CLOWN PHANTASIE tells stories - live!
For the 40th anniversary of the world children aid fond UNICEF in the year 1986 the story TIMURIA was created (premiered in Palmengarten in Frankfurt). On this occasion CLOWN PHANTASIE was born as well.

For the 40th anniversary of the world children aid fond UNICEF in the year 1986 the story TIMURIA was created (premiered in Palmengarten in Frankfurt). On this occasion CLOWN PHANTASIE was born as well.

König Timutu lives high up in the mountains of the Himalaya. He is sitting on the top of the highest mountain in the world and dreams about what is going to happen to his country when he is not there anymore. His dream is to make his country a country for children. But how can this dream become reality? Who knows how this country might look like? This can only be done by children alone! So the king decides to send out his ambassadress - Phantasie who appears as a fantastic, colorful, female figure CLOWN PHANTASIE and asks her to go on a journey around the whole world for him. She had to visit all the children in the world and collect their wishes because only on this foundation a real country for children can be built. So CLOWN PHANTASIE goes on her journey to see all the children. She has packed many colorful stories to tell and in her skirt there is a lot of space to collect the wishes. So Phantasie brings stories from country to country and asks for the wishes of the children...
She keeps on collecting stories, legends and wishes in a district of Mannheim called Jungbusch. She collects in an elementary school and a kindergarten. In spring 2009 Clown Phantasie brought her collection back to the children in Ecuador. In exchange with one school and a kindergarten on the Cayapas-River and in the small town of Borbón the stories from Germany were translated to Spanish and Ecuadorian stories to German. Pictures and photographs were exchanged and letters and songs conveyed. With these collected dreams and wishes we want to create a world, where children can be happy. Put into our context, it means to include the children’s ideas into the construction of a cultural centre in Borbón. We also want to push forward the idea of interconnection and exchange between Ecuadorian schools and institutions and schools and institutions in Germany. The aim on both sides is to create more awareness for unity in our world, despite all cultural differences.
Clown Phantasie was created by Udo Schoen. Clown Phantasie has been continuously travelling all over the world for over 20 years now. As an ambassador for a world more worth living in she kept on telling and collecting stories. All the time she tried not to lose or forget a single wish that was given to her!
